Belt Fed Semi-auto RPD.s?

Anyone had or shot one the Semi-auto Belt fed RPD 's that are on the market? I see they are made from East Block kits with new receivers. Wonder if they are worth the $2200+ that they seem to run. Any experience on these would be appreciated.

  I purchased a kit from Military Gun Supply and sent it directly to Wiselite Arms in Boyd, Texas. I had them cut the barrel and make a shorty. The whole thing is going to run me around $2100 when it's done w/ S$H.
