Henry golden boy 22lr
Hi folks, I bought a Marbles
tang sight for my rifle and
when the tang is put in use
it isn't anywhere near perpendicular
with the barrel.Seems to be off 5 or
10 degs. I matched it up to my Marlins
and Winny 94 and the angle
is off pretty much the same.
Anybody have any issues like this?
Thanks-Rong

I just rested it on the

perpendicular with the barrel0 -
Rong,
The "stock drop" of the Golden Boy is pretty severe, very much like the original Henry & Winchester 1866 rifles. If the tang sight that you have is working correctly, then you may need to shim it. ...or, find another tang sight that better fits your rifle. Having the same amount of degrees variance with the Winchester 94 does not sound right to me, due to the affore-mentioned stock drop. Call up Henry, and ask them which sight fits your rifle, instead of asking Marble's.0
