need a good gunsmith

i need a gunsmith who can do some trigger work on my mossberg 800a 308. i would really like someone who is fammiliar with this rifle. i am willing too pay the price. i need it brought down to about 3 lbs from 10 lbs. names and phone numbers please. thanks

  For simple trigger work you should be able to find someone reasonably close to home. Where are you located?
  If it were mine, I think I'd contact Mossberg first; I can't believe 10# is anyone's definition of acceptable.
  I'd also call Brownell's and see if someone makes a replacement trigger for the 800, or one that could be easily adapted.

  if you contact mossberg or look in the manual for model you should be able to find who is an approved service center for repair work in your area or they may want you to send it to them. you can also contact them thru email on their website.
