I'm wanting a Colt .45 revolver....2
From the previous thread;
Are the USFA Revolvers capable of handling .45LC +P as the old model Ruger Vaquero .45LC, or is there a variation that can?
Thanks.

I would say the various +P 45 Colt loads out there, if they specify the Ruger, should be used in the Ruger only. Many reloading manuals have a Ruger section also and I'd do the same with those loads. But the general +P 45 Colt loads would I think be OK.
Just to clarify regarding the Rodeo, everything about it is well done and the finish, while matte and not high polish, is very well done. If I were carrying one for hard use it would be a great choice.0 -
What about the USFA Gunslinger, what do you think of it, as I like it and wanted to be able to use .45LC +P loads in it like I can with the old Ruger Vaquero? 0 -
If you want to shoot +P, you should get an older Ruger Vaquero. It isn't recommended for Colt & USFA SAA's or the Ruger "New Vaquero".
