First Model Woodsman Question
My first model Colt Woodsman is one of the early models designed to fire only standard velocity ammunition. Recently I snagged a mainspring housing for the high velocity rounds. Can anyone tell me if the housing was the only part that required replacement to safely use high velocity ammo? Thanks!

Yes it is . Nice find However keep the old housing or sell it dont throw it away. some collectors like original vintage parts they would have come on early serial number guns b 0 -
Thanks for the info Perry. As the original housing is serial numbered to the gun, it makes sense to keep it so everything can be original again if needed. 0
