Add reserve after auction started?

Prety sure an auction I have been watching had no reserve. Now it does. Can this be done are is my memory worse than I think?

  If there are no bids, changes can be made to the auction. Once there is a bid, changes can't be made. You can add information though.

  There were bids. Very low bids.

  You cannot modify the auction in that manner once you have active bids. Attempting to change the auction with a bid in place will send you this message:
  
  You cannot edit item [auction number] because it has been bid on. Items cannot be edited after they have been bid on.
  
  Once you have a bid your option as a seller is basically limited to adding descriptions as separate attachments (the original text of the auction cannot be modified in any way), adding additional photos (existing photos cannot deleted once you have a bid in place) or ending the auction early, in which case the high bidder automatically gets the item.

  "Prety sure..." and absolutely sure are two different animals.
  
  Problems with Auctions or Auction violations are referred to ADMIN of the Auction side by using the Help/Support button. These topics are not covered by the Forums.
