Browning bar.22 problem

I disassembled & cleaned the rifle for the problem I'm still having is it will chamber the cartridge , fire & chamber the a fresh round but does not cock the hammer & fire again, any help will be appreciated thanks

  Sounds to me like you have a spring on the disconnector that is broken, missing, or not installed properly. I would get a takedown schematic, and see which is the case.
