Is the year of manufacture 1977?
And the model a C? And what does the model C mean?

Here is a chart for dating manufacture years of HPs. But, it goes only back to 1950s. Years ago I managed to narrow down manufacture date of my HP brought back by an uncle in WWII, but darn if I can remember where I found this info.

As for finish of the HP, except for the barrel, my WWII era FN was originally blued.
