Nylon 66 Finish
I bought a Nylon 66 and it has a matt finish. I know that the Nylon 77 sold through Kmart had a matt finish, but i've never seen a 66 with a matt finish. Am i missing something?

This one has a blued barrel but the receiver is matt finished. 0 -
Actually what you are calling a receiver is a piece of tin stamped into the shape of a receiver . It has probably been taken off and refinished , as they were prone to rusting ! 0 -
Black stock or brown? The ones with black stock were sort of a short run. I got one for my youngest and it's still in like new condition. 0 -
I thought the black stock ones had the chromed receiver and barrel...at least that what my friend's black stocked Nylon 66 has on the metal. 0 -

They made a chrome and a blued finish with a black stock. This one has a brown stock. I know it hasn't been refinished.0 -

When i call it a receiver I'm just stating a location of the part. I know it's not the actual receiver.[?]0 -
Some of the later 66's had the same receiver finnish as the K-MART APACHE 77's... Check the date code on the barrel..
