Churchill rifle info
I have a bolt action 30-06 which I bought used in 1978. On top of the barrel is stamped Churchill(Gunmakers)LTD.7.Bury Street London SW1 England. On one side is stamped NP *30' 2*49" 18 tons. O nthe other is stamped the serial number 76652 and below that Made in England.
It has a beautiful checkered walnut stock with what appears to be rosewood end caps on the foregrip and hand grip. It has the 3 leaqf express sights (stamped to 300 yds). Does anyone have or know of any information about this rifle, where I would have to go to find out the date of manufacture, the series, and then the value??
