IT WAS SOLD BY WAL-MART HE THINKS IN THE MID 80`S. Google gave me this info;
"Wildlife for Tomorrow Conservation Edition" 1 of 2000 sold in selected Wal-Mart stores in 1997-98
Judging from the only one I can find that sold, value is about $645
edit; found another one that sold elsewhere NIB for $536. Adjust value to $500 to $6450 -

As a general rule, a commerative that is a factory firearm, doctored up bu an outside company, is not worth more than the factory standard rifle. A factory commemorative or limited edition, like tha 1873, and 1876's 1 of 1000, and 1 of 100's are very good investments, and will blow the doors off the stock market any day!

I`VE GOT A MATCHING PAIR OF 1894-1994 LIMITED EDITION`S GRADE 1 AND 2 THAT I PAID $ 1350.00 FOR IN 2001 THAT HAVE AT LEAST DOUBLED IN PRICE. THIS GUN FROM WAL-MART IS JUST AS NICE AS MY HIGH GRADE, SO I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ITS WORTH THE SAME AS A PLAIN JANE HUNTER !IS IT NOT A FACTORY MADE WINCHESTER ? First, it is not a WINCHESTER Model 94... instead, it is a U.S. Repeating Arms Co. manufactured Model 94.
Second, it is not an official "Commemorative"... instead, it is a "Special" or "Limited" edition. With the "WFT" prefix on the serial number, it is very likely that it was originally manufactured as you see it versus being "doctored up" by an outside company after the fact.
Lastly, there is an extremely small number of collectors who might be interested in it. Just because there was a small or limited production number, that does not mean that it is valuable. Collector demand is what drives the value. The Wal-Mart or "Wildlife Forever" connection does not help or increase the value either.0
