Win 30-30 Candian Centennial
I just inherited 2 winchester 30-30 canadian centennial 1867-1967 rifles never fired, brand new in the original boxes with consecutive serial numbers. Does anyone have any idea about these guns and what they are worth? Should i sell them, keep them, or take them out and shoot them.

Do NOT shoot them!... that is unless you like intentionally flushing $$$ down the toilet.
That said, they are not "high-dollar" collector grade guns. My guess is that they are worth $1200 - $1300 for the pair.0 -
Welcome to the forums. The market for Winchester commemoratives is not all that great now. There where more than 90,000 Canadian Centennials made, and according to the information I have, they didn't have serial numbers.That said, the Blue Book of Gun Values list them, 100% in the box with all the paper work at $595.00. Double that, and thats what they're worth, IF you find some one who wants them. You would do well to look on the auction side, at finished auctions to get a more realistic idea of the current market.

Condition of commemoratives is more critical than with other guns. In order to bring top dollar, they need to be unhandled; i.e., no visible marks to indicate they were even removed from the box, & no indication the action was worked. Plus, the box, sleeve, tags, manuals, etc must be crisp & clean. No oiling, polishing, shining, dry firing, or anything else can be apparent.
