trigger work on mossberg 800a?
anybody familiar with this old rifle? mossberg bolt action 308,model 800a. the gun shoots great but the trigger is horrible (10 lbs).anybody know how too lighten the trigger pull? any gunsmiths who can do it? thanks

Those old Mossbergs have a great trigger to adjust . I happen to think very highly of these Rifles . They shoot very good , I think it's because of those massive bolt lugs and the Accro-Groove rifling plus the trigger . If you will PM me I'll tell you how to adjust your trigger , it's almost as easy as rolling off a log ! [^] 0 -

The rifle was designed by Seecamp know for pistols and has 3 locking lugs. Good guns!0 -
