ok the rifle says American Eagle 20 E 22 S,L,LR on the barrel no other #'s can be found here are some pictures

there was no tude intended I just asked a question? example if the experts here don't know that maybe they would know someone to call or something to find out about this old/rare rifle I have even tried looking for it in gun books with no luck. sorry if I offended anyone I didn't mean any disrespect.0 -

Excuse my rant then. I thought you were mocking us. We try are best to help as much as we can. Many time rifles like yours can't be easily identified. They fall under the category of "Store Brand" or "Hardware Guns", i.e inexpensive guns made in small quantities for a specific retailer. Generally the best that you can do with these guns, is if someone knowledgeable can identify the original manufacturer.0 -

Your rant is excused it was partly my fault for not saying what I meant though I wish there were some numbers or something t go by on the gun but there is nothing except what I have posted before I bought two of them in a sale and neither one has a bolt so I'm mainly trying to find what parts may fit thanks for the info0 -

If there are no numbers on them it means that they were made prior to 1968. This is when the Gun Control Act of 1968 mandated that all firearms had to be serial numbered. Prior to this it was common for manufacturers not to serialize inexpensive rifles and shotguns.0 -
