5.56/.223 Recommendations

Looking for best cost ratio on suitable 5.56/.223. Ive learned to steer away from Wolf and other "dirty stuff. How would you rate PMC, Hornady, Remington, Federal, etc. Looking for the best round for the money. I have a collection of several different brands and am looking to buy in bulk. 55 grain or larger bullets. Thanks.

BTW strictly for an AR.

  Lately I've been buying from ammoman.com . His prices are "delivered", & he accurately describes what he sells; i.e., type of primers, corrosive or not, etc.

  This is 556 ammo $299 per 1000.
  
  On top of this, he has some interesting loads available also at very reasonable prices. I haven't dealt with him directly (I purchased from a local dude who carries his stuff so I wouldn't have to pay shipping) but the ammo seems good.
