Persian Mauser

In the recent post on the custom Mauser with engraving, nononsense pointed out that the left receiver wall had Farsi writing on it. I am embarrassed that I missed that since I have one of those Mausers in my collection. I acquired it some years ago shortly after they appeared on the surplus market. When were these Mausers produced and which factories made them. And since the writing is in the usual place for the manufacturer's markings (and I don't read Farsi!), I wonder if it's the manufacturer's name written in Farsi.

Most of the Persian Mausers found in this country are either the long rifles made in Czechoslovakia in the 30's, or the Model 49 carbine that was actually made in Iran on Czech equipment. The Farsi markings identify the model and country of origin.
