lazer sight for p-11

I am going to a gun show Saturday. I am thinking about a lazer sight for my P-11. Are they worth the cost?

    What is the best value for a lazer for a Kel-tec p-11? I do not carry.

    I've owned and carried a P 11 for years. Because of it's very heavy double action trigger pull. It's a up close and personal type of self defense handgun. At no more then 15 ft in a high stress situation I doubt that a lazer would give you much of a advantage.

    If nothing else, it can give a psychological advantage. In low light (or even daylight) seeing a red dot in the center of your chest or played across your eyes can end an encounter with a bad guy right there. Just bringing a gun out (particularly a pocket-sized gun such as a P3, P9 or P11) in low light might not deter a bad guy if they don't see it or think it's too "small" to hurt them. To my knowledge, the only laser that fits a P-11 is made by Armalaser, you might not even find it at a gun show. Also about the Armalaser, it's only "touch activated", there is no "always on" switch, so you have to make sure you keep touching the activation point at least every 12 seconds to keep it on.     Unless you are in law enforcement or the military, laser sights on a handgun are of little value. A laser dot & THE TARGET can both only be seen for a very short time each day, &, even then, will likely cause more harm to you, unless you have been PROFESSIONALLY trained & practice frequently.

    Thanks for the info. I will pass on the lazer. I have owned the p-11 for a while. It is not a target gun, but with practice the long pull can be overcome. Rather have a long pull than a safety to remember under stress. I may not hit where I want, but I will go BANG.
