Couger .357 Colt/Ruger

I'm trying to find out what this SS Revolver is worth, it was made by Davis Customs in california.
Very smooth action and well balanced.
the Ruger Security Six body and Colt Python barrel are well done.
great shooting revolver.
Any help would be welcome.

  I couldn't find any Davis Custom guns in the completed auctions.
  
  Based on what top end factory 357's bring, your gun would be worth at least $600 and perhaps quite a bit more.

  I had a chance to buy a Davis gun - Smith 28 with a heavy 8" bbl, hard chromed and slicked up. That was a few years ago and the asking price was about $600.00. I should have bought the darn thing.
  
  I think these were most often used in IDPA or IPSC - can't keep them straight, they might have better info on value. The problem most folks run into is these are usually "one of a kind" types for the most part, hard to make a comparison.
