Value on Old Shotgun Shells in Box Winchester

    They are not "stainless" Check the auctions. Not much with a shell missing.

    klw67, I have no idea of the value of those shells/boxes but I believe that they would date to the 1960's time frame. The cup wad was an inverted cup that acted as a seal (like a bicycle pump), made of heavy waxed cardboard. The super seal crimp was a nicely folded six segment, wax sealed closure over the shot. The term "staynless" was a Winchester term for non-corrosive priming and powder. They were damned good shells in their day. If you look around at a gun show you might find a shell that matches and you can fill out the box missing a round.
