Mike: Small world. I was Arc Light, Young Tiger and Iron Dukes 1965-1966. B52 tailgunner out of Columbus AFB, Miss. Just found my Young Tiger certificate a couple of months ago after all these years. My son thinks it's awesome. Little does he know. The best to you and all you guys.

1966 along with most grunts I developed a mistrust of the M16, I own several 223 rifles but I wouldn't own a M16 or any of it's clones

Served at Phan Rang aB, transfered to Vung Tau (in-country R&R site) at the I think 535 Trop Carrier Squadron then finished up and returned to the world in 1967. Brother was killed by a road side bomb in 1968.
Summary: The war or conflict as the politicians called it wasn't worth it and I doubt if we have the Vietnam debt paid off yet. I'm a member of Agent Orange Health Cl;ub!

Bounced around a lot. Camp Pendleton, Millington, Tenn., shipped to El Toro with two hundred other guys because schools at Millington were full, back to Millington for training in hydraulics. From there had choice of orders so went back to Pendleton to the OV-10A squadron for training. After training there was transferred to New River,N.C. Spent a couple of months there before getting orders to RVN. Back to Pendleton before being shipped out to Da Nang where I was assigned to HML-167 at Marble Mountain in Jan. 1969. Left there on Christmas Day to head back to the states where I was stationed at Yuma, Arizona for my last 18 months. I was assigned to VMAT 102 there. Sorry, I can't remember all the dates.
