I have a Weaver 330 in perfect condition and would like to know more about it and what it is worth?

    The Weaver 330 was introduced around 1930, & was a 2.2X unsealed scope intended for sporting use (as opposed to target). Many were mounted using Weaver's JR scope bases. Standard reticle was crosshairs, with a single post available as a factory option. Major variations were the S models which require a screwdriver for adjustment, & the C model which has knobs that can be turned with your fingers.

    During WWII, several thousand were bought by the US military for use on the 1903A4 sniper rifle. Other variations for the military marked 330.M8 & M73B1 were also produced. Production resume after the war & continue until the early 1950's, & these were often used on .22 rifles.

    Since the 330 scope is not sealed, it tended to fog in wet/humid weather. The objective can be screwed off the scope, but you don't want to insert anything in the scope tube since the reticle is easily damaged.

    I am unable to tell you anything about the one you have without photos.
