    It's probably a 'Winchester Select', current production. Imported from Belgium.

    It sure does. I thought it was your gun so I shut my big mouth, but this is one cheap ass looking gun. I think its a combination of the stained birchwood, the machine cut unfinished checkering, the tin looking frame in contrast with the low luster matte bluing. A gun only a russian could love.

    that's what I was thinking Cartod, NO this is not my gun but one that is selling on auction as a Winchester 101 but the seller does not know what model 101

    Notice how it has been inexpertly photoshoped. He trying to cover something up.

    Per U.S. law the country of origin has to be marked on manufactured products. If it's not marked Japan, I can't see how he could be passing it off as a 101?
