.357 Colt Python value

Wondering about value of a. .357 colt python nickle finish 4" vented barrel orig. walnut grips never fired...no box...bought in 1982. Thanks.

  In my part of Eastern PA, ANY decent condition Python starts above a grand. Nickel finish adds about 10%. If yours were in the gun shop where I work, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1250 to 1300 dollar tag on it.

  That's what I thought. Have a friend who's out of work and looking for some income. I told him it was quite valuable; thanks for the confrmation! (His lefty leanings aren't workng out so well...)
