model 12 win trap ?
I, have a model 12 I,would like to know if it is a trap gun it has a simmons rib and 30 full. also I was told it was built in 1961 is this correct THANK YOU . coop I forgot ser# 1917615

There is a difference between a trap gun, and a trap grade gun. Is the wood checkered? does it say "trap" on the magazine tube. If not its a field gun with an aftermarket simmons rib. Pictures would help to ID it, but the year is correct. 0 -

the wood is checkered but I do not think it is correct does not say trap anywhere that I can find . I guess it is a field grade thank you for info. 0
