Would anyone happen to where or if anyone still makes the different colored inserts for the 77/22 and/or the old MKII rifles.

  Try the above link. Lett used to make grips for Ruger, left Ruger (I guess), closed (apparently) and seems to have re-established themselves as custom makers as advertised in the above link.
  Should be a good place to start.
