C&R Licence Info

I'm just wondering how long it took to get the forms to fill out? I requested them about 3weeks ago and have not seen them yet. I'm just asking because I want to know if I need to re-request them or this is normal?

Another question, after you fill out the forms, how long does it take to receive the license?

    Close your eyes and bend over. Don't do anything till you start hearing the banjo music from Deliverance. Difficult to believe that it been almost 40 years since Deliverance was a hit.

    The application takes forever to get to you. I think it was like 6-8 weeks. Filled it out and had my license back in about a week. Be sure to fill out dealer info with Midway and Brownells, they give you a dealer discount that payed me back for the cost of the license in less than a year.

    I sent off my curio and relic paperwork the first week of January. Today I received my C&R in the mail, my name and street are both misspelled. Not quite sure what to do about it,I am sure it could be an issue down the road.[:(]

    Get it fixed right away! I wouldn't use the license if the info on it was incorrect.

    Thanks for The info. Does Numerich Gun Parts give discounts as well? I caught wind of it and I was just wondering if anyone knows.

    Any license I get from the government or state is triple checked for correctness. Don't want to end up in jail with bubba for someone else's stupidity.

    I requested the application in Dec. had it withing a week and my c&r 2 weeks later. as to the 100th post; this mean you have to have a 'give-away' (a nice gun would be nice, or a good looking daughter[}:)]).

    I would give a away a beer, but not a gun! As far as a daughter, I'm only 21 and I'm not on board the whole teen prego thing so I don't have one!

    Just received my form today finally! Will send out Monday and see how long it takes to get the license!

    Most folks are not aware, but James Coco was originally cast in the part subsequently played by Ned Beatty. The director made the mistake of giving him the script the night before, Mr Coco read the "squeel like a pig" scene and opted out. The director learned his lesson and when the scene was to be shot, Ned Beatty's role was deleted from the following day's script. Ned was walking around the set saying "I don't get it - if I have no scene why am I on the set today?" to which the director responded "Don't worry Ned, you have a role - we're gonna do a little improv" [xx(]

    After the scene was shot Ned walked up to Burt and said "did you know about this?" Reynolds smirked and Beatty popped him, they haven't spoken since.

    And I almost forgot - getting the C & R usually takes about 8 weeks, give or take. Renewals are about 30 days, they'll send you the app about 2 months before it expires.
