  Check out the new CZ doubles. They make one with a straight stock and double triggers -- I think they call it the Bobwhite model. They also have one model with hammers!
  
  I have their Ringneck model with a single trigger and pistol grip stock and it is a nice quality gun for around $800 or so.

  stoeger and baikal both make them for around 400 dollars, very popular on the cowboy action market with the 20 inch models, they both also make longer barreled hunting models.

  The Marlin-LC Smith is a modern side by side with double triggers. I just listed one.

  You should check out the line of Ugartechea boxlocks and sidelocks. Something for everyone at a good price to value relationship. Lion Country Supply is a good spot to start for a new one or on the auction side at Gunbroker is a good spot to find a used one.
