Reloading and Ammo Prices

I went to the Orange County Gun Show this morning, I got there about 11:00 AM. Before I got into one of the buildings I looked at primers and powder and was surprised that the prices were not that bad and they had as much as I wanted to take home. I walked into the building that Northridge has their booth and look around for quite a while looking at Garnad and Carbine parts and ended up buying two Sten slings. I walked out into the open area of the show again and spotted another booth that had powder and primers at lower prices than the other vendor. What I noticed most about the two vendors selling powder and primers was that there was no crowd, no waiting.

    Now that ammo and components have settled in at high prices there's plenty of supply.

    Around here primers are running about $32 per thousand and are readily available. That's a few bucks more than before the election but not too bad.

    I'm not about to give up handloading. Factory ammo is still too expensive for my taste.
