Hi I have a Lefever ithaca ny 12 ga single barrel shotgun with 5955 on inside of barrels . can anybody tell me what this gun is all about?

  Sounds like a single barrel TRAP Model with good close-up pictures we may be able to give you a Value. dont try to get the whole gun in the pictures just sections at a time. This may be a high grade gun open the action and remove forearm then look at all markings on the barrel and receiver that were hidden with the gun closed.
