Anyone catching crappie?

I went last weekend and caught 9 the afternoon before a front came through. We fished that evening, and I finally found where they were hiding. Caught 6-7 in 10 minutes and then the wind and rain kicked in, so we headed home. We went back the next day, still rain/snow/sleet mix and only picked up one, I had one hit by the pier that was so hot the evening before, and the little sucker broke took my jig right off the line.

  Our lake ice isn't safe to walk on now. Average "ice out" here in Wisconsin is April 8th.

  The ice here is long gone. No boat for me. Going to have to tag along with someone else sometime or wait for the water to get hard again, but that will be a while.
