Springfield 1911 firing pin
Results requested are as follows:
Was having a problem with the .075" firing pin vs. the old .090" firing pin on a 1911. Was not firing all primers.
As recommended by this forum, instead of boring out the pin hole and replacing with a "std" pin, I changed to a new pin and new light weight spring (also found the pin spring was put in backward). Results were positive. I purposly set primers high and they still fired, just as my other 1911's.
So thanks to all those that talked me out of my plan.
