Taurus .357 what model do I have?

Hi there, I have A Taurus .357 and I dont know what model it is Im thinking it is a model 680 serial number is k1500239,There is a stamped 680 when you open the cylinder, But I cant find anything for sure. Any Ideas Thanks.
Also does anybody know where I can find a scope base/mounting
bracket. Thanks again

    Post a picture or give a good description, Taurus made a bunch of .357 models.

    Pictures would be a tremendous help. Taurus has manufactured many models of revolvers. Taurus(as did Rossi)used assembly numbers on their guns, in order to keep all of the parts for a particular gun together. That "680" could be the assembly number. Also, the early Taurus guns were imported by companies that were not named "Taurus". International Distributors, of Miami,(abbreviated "Int. Dist. Inc.") was such an importer. Does you gun have any import markings on it?

    Yeah bigloop that looks like my gun, but after getting a closer look at the numbers under the cylinder my gun is stamped 689. But let me post some pics shortly so we can make sure, Thanks
