    Please define "original condition", describe warts, whether or not it is a 3" gun, s/n, etc. There's no way we can give you a value based on your vague description.

    steel barrel I think, wood is in good condition, used last hunting season, never been restored, 3" chamber, hammerless, lockup is tight, bore lightly pitted in one place

    Damascus is not a solid piece of steel, it is instead rolled pounded and folded steel that can come apart with high pressures.

    Depending upon condition (and this is important), IMO it would do $300-$600 at auction. I gave one away here on GB about 3 years ago that had fallen of the wall.
