    Ammo needs to have a label to ship UPS and You can not ship AMMO through the Mail. USPS post office will charge and convict you . The post office is the BEST WAY to ship a rifle or shotgun But unless you have a FFL you cant ship pistol by USPS.

    The answer is NO, I can not find the link to it right now though.

    EDIT:
    Apparently it is policy and not law;

    FedEx Express will transport ammunition when packed and labeled in compliance with local, state and federal law, and the Dangerous Goods section of this Service Guide. Ammunition is an explosive and must be shipped separately as dangerous goods. You agree not to ship loaded firearms or firearms with ammunition in the same package.

    I am sure UPS has a similar policy.

    Not thru the Post Office. If you use ups or fedex or similar just stick a orm-d small arms sticker on the box. Bob

    No. The ammo and rifle need to be shipped separately. The ammo will have to go via FedEx or UPS.

    There are no laws that say this other than the USPS service. With UPS and FED-EX, it is company policy. They say either ship it seperately or don't ship it at all...we don't care. That is their attitude. It is their companies, and their rules. Similar to I say no smoking in my house...if you wanna smoke, don't come here.
