MOA adjustments

Being new to any kind of long range shooting, for me anyway. When looking at a ballistic table and the "Come up in MOA" is 3.0. That would be 12 clicks with an 1/4 scope? 24 with a 1/8 scope adjustments.

While my normal range is a swamp right now, central Iowa. Ready to try some loads out real soon! I realize this is basic for many, I've just always "held over" and guessed at longer ranges before.

  Number of MOA correction needed * number of clicks/MOA = adjustment required

  True; just remember though that 1/4 MOA clicks at 100 is 1/8" at 50, or 1/2" at 200, etc.
