10-22 misfiring
The hammer spring seems stout, the trigger group is clean. The bolt has never been out because I can't figure out how to remove it but it has been hosed out with carb cleaner and CLP. It looks clean enough.
I am still getting misfires, it looks like light firing pin hits.
The rifle has 50K plus rounds through it.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?

make sure the barrel is tight to the receiver. you might try another brand of ammo. 0 -

What. . .only 50,000 rounds? Obviously the problem is that the gun isn't broken in yet! [;)]
OK, seriously, 50k rounds. . .light firing pin hits. . .
Yes, you said the hammer spring seems stout, but it seems like you're due for a worn hammer spring, and that would explain the problem.
Part only costs a few bucks. . .worth a shot.
New firing pin can't hurt either. . .though that will cost a little more.
Also, make sure the chamber is sparkly clean and isn't damaged/peened anywhere. Those things could reduce firing pin impact.
On how to remove the bolt. . .

Thanks for the link. I'll tear it down tomorrow and see what I can find. 0 -
They are easy to disassemble. Make sure the safety button is in the center position or you may chip the stock removing the barreled action. What I mean is the safety button is neither on nor off but centered in the trigger guard.[;)] 0 -
seen this three times. barrel retainer screws loosened up. check they are both tight. 0 -
Pull the bolt and clean the crap out of the space where it used to live!
Non-cleaning rimfires only ought to apply to single shots.0 -
Don't over tighten the barrel retention screws in the v-block. If you do, you will need another one of those too, as they can, and will split.
