.327 mag. vs. .32 HR mag.

What are the dimensional differences in these 2 cartridges? Are they safely interchangeable?

  327 is longer than 32 H&R mag. Same difference as 38 special and 357 mag.

  The .32 H&R will fit into a .327 but not vice versa as the .327 is too long. Nice thing about the .327 is you can shoot 4 different rounds in it-.327 Mag, .32 H&R Mag, .32 Long, .32 S&W.

  5 different rounds, ruger41. A .327 magnum revolver will also shoot .32 ACP pistol rounds.

  Forgot that one--too bad someone doesn't make moon clips for .32acp as that would make ejecting them so much easier--would be like the old S&W m1917 or Colt New Service shooting .45acp's.
