Am I priced too high?

Hello All,
I have 3 factory new rifle/shotgun that I am selling. Just curious as too what a fair and reasonable price would be on 1) Remington Model BDL "Custome Deluxe" 270 Win, 2) Weatherby Mark V 7mm WBY "Deluxe", 3) Browning Citori XS Sptg O/U 12ga. Shotgun. The firearms were relaced by my insurance company when the original firearms were stolen from my home. The reason I ask is...the guns were manufactured in 2005-2006 but have never been fired. They are NEW, but not 2010 models. Can someone tell me what they are worth? Am I priced too hign?

    It is going to be hard to say if the prices are too high due to your sue of a hidden reserve. Buyer dislike reserve auctions and it is possible to program the Gun Broker auction search function to totally eliminate any auctions which have a reserve. The use of this "reserve killer" feature is very popular so bear that in mind.

    Well, 1. you don't have any "real" pics. 2. You do not have any feedback. 3. You have "reserve Auctions" as Mark stated above. Three things that might prevent a sale....although that BDL might be a good buy [:)].imo...nambu

    It has been my experience that quality guns will bring what they are actually worth, (and sometimes more) at auction if you have good pictures and no reserve price. I, like many others, refuse to bid if there is a hidden reserve. By the way, you have some excellent guns for sale, I like the Weatherby a lot. Good luck!

    Thanks Marks, MM and TW. This is my first time selling on GunBroker.com. I have the real pictures and I will post immediately. My pictures dont do them justice. Please explain the "reserve killer" for me if you don't mind. How can I protect myself from giving them away. Any help would be appreciated.     There are a number of on-line dealers who sell new firearms at rock bottom prices. You can find them through GOOGLE. Even being unfired your guns would still be considered used. Times are bad money wise for lots of folks unfortunately, big difference from 2005-2006. To make a long story short, if you want to move them now put a starting price of 10% below what the discount dealers are asking for comparable firearms. Hope for the best. My 2?.

    The reserve killer is a feature built into the auction search function that allows the person doing the search to totally eliminate from his viewing any auctions that have a reserve. For instance, if I were looking for a Weatherby I would enter the model and caliber I was searching for as well as hitting the feature to eliminate viewing any auctions with a reserve...Which means I'd never even see your rifle. Lots of folks use this feature due to reserve auctions being highly unpopular.

    Thanks Mark...I posted some new pictures. Any additional wisdom will be appreciated. I'll take off the reserve price but put a starting price. Any idea on starting prices for these 3 guns?

    My advice, and I sell guns on here GB in addition to being one of the sites highly paid moderators[;)], is to take a look at the listings what similar guns are selling for. If someone has a rifle exactly like yours listed at X number of dollars and it has not received a single bid in a week then chances are it is priced too high for the market and you need to be under that amount. You are the only one who really knows how much you've got in these guns and how much you need but rufe-snow pointed out some fine suggestions on pricing strategy. The market is very soft right now and getting what guns are worth these days is not going to be easy, or perhaps even possible.
