H&R Double Action .22 Sportsman

I have a .22 caliber Harrington and Richardson Sportsman Double Action [:)]with the serial number B7933. It does not have a vented barrel and has a one-piece grip. I am not sure the date of manufacture after reading the previous posts. I am sure that is due to my limited brain marrow....anyway, I was wondering if it was in the 1937-38 era or because of the lettered serial number it was in the 1952-53 era? Any help would be appreciated. I also was wondering a value which I know is hard to do without seeing. Has 70-75% blueing...a few minor scratches....otherwise tight and in good condition. Thanks.

    B prefix of serial # = 1941 manufacture.
    Tough to say without pics. but, in the condition you speak, $ 225-250 would probably be a pretty close guess as to value.
