How much to sell a savage for?

I am looking into selling my savage 24 series p SN C389xxx. It has a walnut stock and trigger housing is blued. The stock has a few nicks but no gouges or anything. Ive searched the forum but found nothing. I would say the gun is in good condition and would like to no a figure in which I would start as a selling price. Thanks for your help!!

    I always check over on the auction side when I am checking the value of a gun. If not, maybe some folks here know about the value.

    The Model 24 just covered in another post that you can search for! The link is more information on your rifle and if you click the home tap it will take you into a fourm. You should be able to get an idea of what it is worth on the fourm.

    I check the auctions for a selling guide but I usually start an item at the minimum I'll take for it.

    Thanks for the replies! Ive looked over on the auction side and only saw one. It had just started so it was at a penny. Ill keep looking around maybe it might just be more worth it to keep it, although I have only shot it once and it was given to me.

    Try the sold post on the left of the screen. It will tell what they have sold for in the recent past. Good luck!
