Is the Scar 17 available? I don't know this gun but a customer asked me about it.

I imagine you are looking for the civillian semi auto version. FNH has stated that they are going to create a semi-auto version (as I recall the civi version of the light is the 16s, and the heavy will be 17s). I would guess the "s" is for "semi-auto" or "sucks to be you, not be able to buy full auto". The difference is, of course, the 5.56mm vs 7.62mm. The 5.56mm is already available at ridiculous prices (IMHO). I kid because I love...
I have not seen one for sale yet, but it seems to me that we are at or past the point FNH originally said they would be available. That's just going off memory though.

The article only says 2010. I was thinking it was Q2 - 2010, but that was the Bushmaster ACR.0 -
