hastings slug barrel on rem

Does anybody know for sure if a hastings slug barrel for an 1187 will fit on on an 1100? I've heard both yes and no. Thanks in advance.

  Yes, they are interchangeable. I have both the 1100 and 11-87 with Hastings barrels for both. The Remington 1100 shot barrels fit the 11-87 also.
