Value of a 30-30 Win
I am trying ot esablish a value of a Winchester 94AE made by A-A Engraving of Rapid City, So Dak. It was shipped from them in 1994. It is Gold Plated, Standard Walnut 20 in round barrel, never handled without gloves, and of course never fired. Any thoughts??

Well for starters, it was actually manufactured by the U.S. Repeating Arms Co. vice Winchester or "A-A Engraving of Rapid City, SD". The non-factory engraving and the gold plating was undoubtedly accomplished by "A-A Engraving".
With that stated, the first thing that needs to be understood is that a 1994 vintage Model 94 AE is not a "collector" grade gun.
The potential value of the gun is purely in the eye of the beholder only, or in more simple terms... whatever $$$ amount that someone who is interested is willing to pay for it.
From a practical standpoint, I would add the cost of the engraving & plating to the price of the gun when it was new, subtract 10%, and hope someone is interested in it at that price.0 -
Show us a pic. They are still doing these guns for any number of special events. Just met with them last week on a number of guns we want done. 0
