Brno--CZ rifle identification

I have a Brno or CZ rifle with nearly the same specifications as those listed in the Blue Book for the Brno Model 21H.. The exception is that my rifle is a single shot and I believe in the 8.15 x 46R caliber. On the barrel side it is marked 'NMBB24' and also marked with two flaming bombs with CZ between. On the bottom of the barrel next to the receiver it is marked BG as well as a crown with a V beneath--also the number 156.14 or 15614. The barrel length is aproximately 16 or 17 inches. At one time it may have had a sling swivel soldered to the barrel. Double set trigger with rear fold down sight. Wood is checkered with ornate scalloped carving around the comb. The receiver and trigger guard have a floral encraving. I cannot find a serial number unless the number 15614 is it.

Would enjoy hearing from someone who might identify this weapon--what it used for and if possible some kind of value to it.

    The rifles chambered for the 8.15 X 46R cartridge were off hand target rifles. Barrels were much longer then 16/17 inches.

    Without photos it's difficult, but there were rifles made that roughly fit your description. They were classed as hunting/stalking rifles, for smaller game such as Roebuck. If it's a Czech Mauser it would have been fairly late for a single shot stalking rifle, as they didn't start making Mausers until after the First World War in the 1920's.
