Single action cowboy gun made by Sauer, in what was then West Germany. There descent guns that sold for almost the same as a Ruger back in the 60's/70's time frame, when they were imported. Nowadays people don't know anything about them, as Hawes is long out of business, and Sauer quit making revolvers 30 years ago. Depending on condition and originality you will be fortunate to get 2/3's out of what a used comparable Ruger would sell for.

I know they imported some J.P.Sauer SAA copies and some other copies of the Stevens Tip-up 22.

The Silver City Marshall Hawes was a nickel plated frame, blued cylinder and barrel and pearlite grips. Saur & Sohn made half a dozen in this series with case hardened frames, brass frames, one had a one piece grip and the Chief Marshall had adjustable sights.
You don't mention caliber, obviously whether it's a .22 (Deputy Silver City Marshall) or a center fire makes a difference in value. The Silver City Marshal came in .357 mag with or without a 9mm combination cylinder; 44 magnum, 45 Colt, 44-40 and a combination with .22LR and .22Mag. I think also a .45ACP combo.

Value is around the $200 to $300, depending on condition, caliber and such. I wouldn't quit my day job over one but they are somewhat popular as economical SASS guns. I have a .45 Colt and a .44 Mag in the Montana Marshall configuration and have been problem free for several years.
