I was curious on the year this was made and an estimate on how much this would be worth. I know it was at least made early 80's, it has real nice pattern in the stock and pump

Remington,s will have a coded date on the left side of the barrel just forward of the receiver. Unless the barrel has been changed it's likely to be the DOM.
Many 870's are on the on-line auctions, you can get a ball park price for yours by checking the actual selling prices.0
