Can you identify this?

Is this a black powder flask, canteen or what?? It looks like its made of cowhide and its very old. I'm not sure how to place an image on here but if this didn't work email me and I'll send you a picture...Sure would like to identify it! mmwraytx@aol.com Thanks

    Need help identifying this little revolver frame. It measures about 5 inches from end of barrel to back corner of grip frame. Would it be worthwhile to list this on the auctions? Starting price? Thanks in advance!

    Belgian pinfire or rimfire. Not worth much if complete & working. I'd list at $.01.

    It's one of the Belgian folding trigger pocket models probably made between 1895 & 1914. Many different Belgian manufacturers made them. The leaf main springs were rather fragile, so when the small pocket autos in .25 & .32 became available after 1900, they lost popularity.

    Start it at .01 with no reserve what can you lose. Unfortunately it's considered a firearm by the feds which makes it a hassle to sell, i.e. no way to positively date it prior to 1899 which would make it a antique.
