First of all don't talk in all caps, it appears that you are yelling. Next the Remington R-25 is made by DPMS for Remington. The price difference is that the Remington comes in a camo finish and it has the name Remington on it. That is the difference. Next the DPMS version is a LR 308 not an AR10. AR10's were made by Armalite and only Armalite. You'd probably better served by just buying the DPMS version. That way you could use the extra money to buy a scope. All the DPMS and Remington mags do inter change. Good luck

    Well which model against which?

both the R-25 and the DPMS LR-30 rifles and carbines use KAC SR-25 type mags..

there are several models of both rifles, its hard to say which is the best not knowing what your choices are.

CAN AN EXPERT PLEASE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RIFLES? WHY IS THE COST $400-$500 DIFFERENCE? I AM INTERESTED IN THE REMINGTON R-25 FOR HUNTING BUT IF I CAN SAVE A FEW HUNDRED THAT I CAN PUT TOWARDS A SCOPE BY BUYING THE AR-10 THAT WOULD BE GREAT. WILL THE 4 CARTRIDGE MAG FIT IN THE AR-10? ANY OTHER INFO. WOULD BE APPRECIATED. PLEASE ADVISE. THANK YOU

The DPMS and R25 in AR10 type are the same gun, I presume the Remington costs more because Remington needs to make a few $$$ off the deal and perhaps your seller figures the Remington name is worth a touch more. Similarly equipped, I'd buy the DPMS.

I buy my magazines from CProducts. I don't know if the make a 4 round version, but they do make a 5 and it has the same exterior dimensions as a 10 rounder - should be easy to block off one more round.

Actually, the Remington R-25 has more features on it that are standard like the forward assist, shell deflector, and the dustcover for the ejection port. DPMS makes them both, and they both use the same magazines. As of the last year or so, DPMS has cheapened their upper to their "sportical" type reciever that has no ejection port dust cover, shell deflector, or forward assist. They do however, have these items available as an upgraded build in the A3 upper reciever.

    Hopes this helps.
