Iver Johnson 14 MM S/S Champion
Hello:
I am looking for any information I can find on this gun. It has 14M/M stamped on the barrel. It's a smoothbore. I am wondering if it could be a 32 gauge shotgun. I can insert a 28 gauge shotshell into the chamber, but it is snug, and I have to push it back out with a cleaning rod. It has "Iver Johnsons Arms & Cycle Works Fitchburg, MASS, USA Champion" stamped on the left side of the receiver. The barrel has "14 M/M - BARREL AND LUG FORGED IN ONE" stamped on top near the chamber end. Serial No. is 586xx on bottom tang. If anyone knows anything about this gun, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!
