Welcome to the forum. Probably need a little more on the serial number...like the first two digits. Suggest you check e-gunparts.com for parts. They have diagrams that show the parts and explain differences sometimes.

    curtis,

The 733 should be a nickel-plated revolver, in .32 Smith & Wesson Long caliber. The only two kinds of firing pins that I can think of would be hammer-mounted & frame-mounted. The hammer-mounted one is part of the hammer. The frame-mounted one sits in a hole, between the hammer & the cylinder, and will have a transfer bar that rises up from inside of the frame, when you cock the hammer. Which style of firing pin do you have?

"AS" prefix indicates YOM 1978. This is a 2nd Model with the transfer bar safety/ignition system and the frame mounted firing pin. Firing pin for the Model 732 (the blued analogue) will also fit.
